OLD FAIR DAY FUN

Everyone will have a great opportunity to enjoy a ‘ Big Day Out’ at Manorhamilton Castle on this Sunday, May 14, when the North Leitrim Men’s Group will organise a Heritage and Fair Day to mark the 21st anniversary of the Group’s founding in the town.

Prior to the establishment of Manorhamilton Livestock Mart in the early 1960s, the town’s May 8 Fair Day was one of the biggest social annual social and trading occasion for the most of the local populace.
