LOTTO DRAW

The Geevagh Community Resource lotto draw was held in Des McDonagh’s’ Bar on Saturday, April 29, for a jackpot of € 7,000. The numbers drawn were 9, 11, 21 and 25. There was no winner. The next draw for a jackpot of € 7,100 will be held on Saturday, May 6, in Paddy’s Bar. The winners of € 20 each were Vincent Henry, Whitehill; Mark Houze, c/ o Paddy’s; Teresa O’Rourke and Caroline Nangle, Geevagh; Noreen Casey, Geevagh and Walter Frazer, Ballindoon.

WALKING CLUB

Carran Walking Club host one of their moonlight walks this week. ‘ Bluebells by Moonlight’ walk takes place on Wednesday evening ( 10th) in Knockvicar woods at 7.30 p. m. It’s an easy 6k under the Full Moon. Further information from Peter at 087 2206763.

Geevagh Community Games will take place on Sunday, May 21, starting at 2 p. m. Please support this event and support our young athletes.

FUN RUN/ WALK

Kilmactranny NS are holding their annual Fun Run/ Walk on Sunday, May 29, starting from Highwood Community Centre at midday. Entry fee is € 5 per person or € 15 per family. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Come along and enjoy the fun.
