Sligo Summer School of Angling

YOUNG anglers are looking forward to the Sligo Summer School of Angling next July.

It’s run by Ballymote and District Angling Club with a view to training junior anglers in the art of coarse fishing.

The initiative will take place in July at Ballinacarrow Lake, Ballymote.

It will see participants take practical fishing lessons from qualified angling coaches.

The scheme is sponsored by Inland Fisheries Ireland.

They are keen to support angling federations in their efforts to get more young people engaged in angling around Sligo’s rivers and lakes.
