Singing and laughter is what West Sligo group is all about
THE West Sligo Singers and Skreen Active Retirement Group came together on May 7th last to celebrate the Dawn Chorus as part of the Bealtaine Festival.
On a glorious Sunday morning at Aughris Beach they welcomed the morning with song and laughter.
A small and appreciative crowd gathered to support them, and refreshments were kindly provided by the Beach Bar afterwards.
The West Sligo Singers are an all- inclusive group whose motto is ‘ through laughter we sing.’ They meet at 7pm every Tuesday at the Old Church of Ireland School in Skreen.
