TIDY TOWNS

The Tidy Towns group are setting up a nature garden in the village with wildflowers, herbs etc. to attract butterflies and wildlife and that will also engage one’s senses of sight, smell, touch, taste, and sound. If anyone could help with labour, materials, making flowers beds from wood, digging and planting etc please contact Catherine 087 2300623. A work day started on May 9 and will continue on Tuesday 16th and fortnightly thereafter at seven. 30 p. m., meeting outside shop ( weather permitting.) Bring spades, gloves etc. Weed Control is scheduled on main roads in village by a Landscape Company. Residents are requested to remove the dead weeds from outside their houses.
