PHOTOGRAPH AND HISTORY EXHIBITION.
The parish committee are continuing their collection of photos from around the parish and a gathering/ presentation will be held on Sunday, May 28, in St Nathy’s Hall from 2.30 p. m. to 7.30 p. m. This photographic exhibition and history display will be of great interest to all ages with local school art also on display along with slideshows and lots of local memorabilia. All current and past groups/ clubs of the parish will be represented with stands on the day. Refreshments will be served. Contact any committee member.

DEACON
Congratulations to Rev Emmet O’Dowd, son of Fiona and Séamus O’Dowd, Carowclare, who was ordained a deacon of the church on Sunday, April 30, in Rome for the diocese of Aberdeen, Scotland.
CARROWMORE SCHOOL
The friends of Carrowmore School group have announced plans for a Rambling House/ social event in the School on Saturday, August 12, More details to follow.
FUNDRAISER
Pat McCarrick and Rita Normanly of Moy River B& B are organising a fundraiser for a school in Mombasa, Kenya. The newly built school is in need of furniture and equipment; everything from desks to uniforms to text books.
Pat and Rita are hosting a fundraising house concert at Moy River Folk Club on Friday, May 26, with local artists. Spaces limited so booking essential – 087 2512030. Donations welcomed.
25 CARD GAME
The local 25 card game continues every Friday in St Nathy’s Hall at 9 p. m.
DANCING IN ST NATHY’S HALL
Set dancing is on every Thursday at 8.30 p. m. and social dancing every Monday at 8 p. m. for beginners and 9 p. m. for all others.
