Call for traffic calming at Keash Community Park
COUNCILLOR Dara Mulvey has called on Sligo County Council to examine what traffic calming measures can be put in place at Keash Community Park.
The existing Clubhouse is due to be demolished soon to make way for modern facilities and there will be less car parking spaces available.
“Concerned parents that have contacted me stating it can be quite dangerous at present for children who are crossing road L4202 which is the main Keash- Culfadda road,” Cllr Mulvey told the May Council meeting.
An area engineer will investigate the matter to determine the best solution to the problem.
