Easkey assault

A man and a woman resident in Easkey have been convicted of assault.

39- year- old Francis Kavanagh Smith and James John McKelvey ( 43), both of Main Street, Easkey, were both charged with assault and a Public Order charge at the Community Centre, Easkey on January 8th 2016.

Both were convicted of assault but the Public Order charge was struck out. Kavanagh Smith was fined ¤ 300 while McKelvey was fined ¤ 200 by Judge Kevin Kilrane.
