Award for Colaiste Muire for College Awareness Week
STAFF and students of Colaiste Muire Ballymote were recently awarded by Trinity College Dublin for their participation in College Awareness Week 2016.
College Awareness Week took place during the week of 21st November 2016 which involved student engagement in various activities to learn more about College life.
Over 550 educational institutions in Ireland participated in College Awareness Week with 1212 events held.
Just over 50 of those involved were presented with an award. Michelle McDermott, Deputy Principal travelled to Trinity College Dublin on 10th May to receive this award for the school.
Meanwhile, Ms. Cryan and the Under- 14 Girls’ GAA team have reached the Sligo County Shield Final, which will take place on Wednesday 24th May. The girls successfully overcame Coláiste Iascaigh with a final score of 3- 12 to 3- 09.
