Mercy choir in nationals
A Sligo workplace choir was among the finalists in the recent Choir of the Year contest in association with Lyric FM. Mercy’s Angels were representing Our Lady of Mercy Primary School. The event took place in the Concert Hall at UL. A total of 19 choirs took part, with the overall winners selected as the Jesus National School Choral Society from Dublin. Runners up was the Irish Life choir.
