Knife incident in courthouse
A 19 year old has been charged with possession of a Stanley knife at Tubbercurry courthouse last Wednesday.
Charlie Ward of Parklands Crescent, Tubbercurry appeared in custody before Sligo District Court the next day, May 25th.
Inspector Donal Sweeney said Ward was in the foyer of Teach Laighne in Tubbercurry, in which Tubbercurry District Court sits, at 12.20pm.
Judge Kilrane agreed to grant Ward bail but said it would cost him ¤ 500 cash.
Under his bail conditions, Ward must reside at 76 Rathbraughan, Sligo, sign on daily at Sligo Garda Station, have no contact with the Ward family at the Halting site, Tubbercurry, have no Social Media or WhatsApp interactions with them, keep his phone on 24 hours a day to allow Gardaí contact him, surrender his passport, obey a curfew from 10pm- 9am and stay out of Tubbercurry.
