A break now for the junior cert before championship preparations begin. Our U16 girls were beaten on Tuesday evening by Calry in the Division 2 League Final. In a tightly fought match, Calry always had the upper hand and were 7 pts up at half time. Despite a final score of 3.13 to 2.08, our girls never gave up. Having lost heavily to the same opposition two weeks ago, this was a much- improved performance from the Gaels and we now look forward to the Championship later in the summer.
