RECENT DEATH

The death took place on April 6 in Birmingham of Kevin McDonagh a native of Cloontycarn, Gurteen. His Funeral Mass took place in St Anne’s Church, Birmingham. He is brother of Andy, Cloontycarn. Sincere sympathy is extended to Andy and to all his relations and friends on their bereavement. May he rest in peace.

BAPTISM

Welcomed in the Sacrament of baptism on Saturday 20 was Laughlin Eoin Cogan son of Sharon and Patrick Cogan, living at Gardiner’s, Taverane, Cloonloo a brother to Conor, Cian, Alyssa and to Ciara and Jack.

CEMETERY MASS

Please note that the annual Mass in Killaraght New Cemetery will be on Sunday, June 4, at 9.30 a. m.

BINGO

Bingo is on every Friday night at 8.30 p. m. in Gurteen Hall the jackpot was won recently and now stands at € 1,800 on 46 calls or less with a lotto jackpot of € 400. Profits are shared for the hall upkeep and the local GAA Club Eastern Harps.
