Ruth’s creation wins best new food product award at Innovation Day
ST Angela’s College, Sligo recently hosted the Food Product Innovation Day for the B. Applied Science in Food and Business Management course. Final year student Ruth Sheridan won the Best New Food Product Award for her ‘ Fisherman’s Tale’ - Smoked Mackerel and Leek Fishpini ( fish sausages).
Tracey McDermott, Head of Trading Law & Technical, Tesco Ireland and Karen Gordon ( NPD) Technologist were the guest judges on the day and presented Ruth with the Certificate for Best Food Product Innovation 2017.
