Creative Summer Camp with creative designers Ana Faye and Sinead O Hanlon

CREATIVE Summer Camp is now in its 5th year running and is also in high demand. It is run by local designers Ana Faye and Sinead O Hanlon and is open to all ages of Children of primary school.

All the creative cavities have been carefully though out, so that the children are learning, new skills, which will enhance their development in all subjects in a fun and creative way.

Both designers have been awarded, child protection training from the H. S. E, have been Garda vetted and work along side the Design and Crafts council of Ireland, on their Crafted programme, which is a primary school, educational program aimed at using craft as a means of enhancing the whole primary school curriculum which has been running throughout Ireland for the past 9 years. Ana has also been a trainer for Primary school teachers under the Sligo education centre for the last number of years, to help them enhance and enrich the visual arts strand in the primary school curriculum.

We believe that art craft and design should be an essential part of children’s development and we aim to encourage and develop their natural creativity throughout a series of selected fun craft activities, which will naturally develop a Child’s confidence, attention span, dexterity, problem solving skills and of course imagination.
