Special recognition for captain Keogh

-

HE captained the Republic of Ireland U15s against Poland and the Netherlands earlier this year and Grange teenager Semas Keogh returned to his former club where he was given a special presentation for his endeavours.

Family, friends, team- mates and coaching staff from Benbulben FC gathered at the North Sligo Sports Complex, Grange, where the former Benbulben FC player was presented with a framed Benbulben FC jersey.

This was in recognition of his great footballing achievements in being selected to play for the Ireland U15 International squad.

Seamas went on to captain that Irish team during its recent friendlies in Poland and the Netherlands. The framed jersey was signed by Seamas’ former team- mates and coaching staff.

Benbulben FC U15 manager, Mike Healy, made the presentation to Seamas, wishing him well in his future footballing endeavours, and assuring him of continuing support and well wishes from everyone at Benbulben FC and the community in Grange.

Seamas was named as the Juvenile Men’s Player of the Year at the Sligo Champion Sports Awards which were held in March with special guest Paul McGrath handing out Seamas’s award.
