IT is 25 years since we won our second Senior Championsh­ip in 1992. We will honour the team this Saturday night 10th June in McDermott’s, Castlebald­win with a presentati­on - all welcome with proceeding­s kicking off at 9.00PM. THE annual Golf Classic takes place next Saturday 10th in Carrick on Shannon Golf Club. There are a few tee times remaining and to book yours contact Niall Kearns on 086 8599792. The format is a scramble with teams of 3 for € 90. The prizes will be presented in McDermott’s on the night. THE Junior team lost 0- 8 to 2- 18 to Enniscrone last Saturday in the league. They now play Eastern Harps at home next Saturday at 7.30PM. THE boys U14’ s play Coolera/ Strandhill this Thursday at 7PM in Riverstown Park. THE girls U14’ s play Geevagh this Tuesday at 7PM in Riverstown Park. HARD luck to U12 girls who lost to Coolera in the A Shield final last Saturday. THE boys U12 boys play Eastern Harps this Thursday at 7PM in Coola. BEST of luck to all Gaels players starting their exams this week. THERE was no winner or match 3 winner in the lotto at the weekend. The numbers drawn were 9, 14, 20 and 24. The jackpot is now at € 1,300 with the next draw on Saturday 17th June in Sean Macs. THE winners of the monthly members draw were Carmel Tuohy, Padraig McKeon and Hilary Lyons. THE club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Tom McHugh , Ballygawle­y who died last week and James Latten, Dublin and formerly of Ballygawle­y who died recently.
