WE got off to winning ways last Monday night with the u 12 boys who had a super game and a great 3 point win over Carly/ St Joseph’s down in Ballinode. TUESDAY saw our u14 girls out in Ballintogher against St Michaels and with great scores came away with a win also . FRIDAY night at home the Junior men played host to St Mary’s in the pitch and came out the winners on the night winning 1/ 16 to St Mary’s 1/ 6. OUR u12 girls played a tough game in Markievicz Park in their league final v CT Gaels on Saturday but were beaten by a stronger side on the day . It was a fantastic achievement for these band of youngsters to reach the final considering 2/ 3 of the team are u10 girls so well done to them and their managers . TODAY our senior men played St Molaise Gaels in the league at home and had a comprehensive win across all the positions with a final score of 6/ 12 to 4 points . CONGRATULATIONS to our local NS Drimina who are all Ireland Champions in NS Soccer tournament played in the Aviva this week !
