TIDY TOWNS

Its Tidy Towns Competition time again and adjudicators will be visiting our area in the coming weeks. Please support your local Tidy Towns efforts by keeping local areas neat and tidy. Every action, no matter how small, makes a difference. Thank you for doing your part.

COAST CARE

Lissadell Coast Care and Carney Tidy Towns will be carrying out Marram grass planting and a beach clean at Lissadell Beach on Friday, June 9, at 7 p. m. All are very welcome to help out and refreshments will be provided. Bring a spade along with you, all other equipment will be provided.

CUL CAMP

A reminder that this year’s local GAA Cúl Camp takes place in Oxfield from June 17 to June 21. This action- packed and fun- filled week caters for boys and girls aged between 6 and 13. Online bookings are still open. Always a great week.

BENBULBEN NIGHT WALK

The 2017 Night Walk of Benbulben, being organised by the Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team, takes place on Saturday, July 15, The Oxfield Community Centre is once again delighted to facilitate the event, which is the SLMRs main fundraiser of the year.
