TIDY ESTATE/ ROAD

Dromahair Development Association/ Tidy Towns are running the Tidy Estate/ Road Competition again this year. Please contact Margaret, Theresa or Martina in the Depot Office to enter your Estate/ Road on 07191 34986 or 085 8017943 or message us on Facebook. Closing date for entries is June 30.

TIDY TOWNS

Judging of the Tidy Towns competition has started and everyone has a role to play to keep the village looking at its best, so please everyone, paint that fence or pull that weed and be vigilant for litter. We have our litter patrols out every day and most people are great so here’s hoping for a Huge Team Dromahair Effort for 2017, is feidir linn.

MASS IN GRAVEYARDS

Mass in the graveyards in Killenummery Parish will take place on Saturday, July 8, in Carrowcrin cemetery at 7.30 p. m. On Sunday, July 9, in Killerry at 11.30 a. m. and in Creevelea at 2 p. m.

The blessing of Graves in Killargue Cemeteries will take place on Sunday, June 25, beginning with Mass at 2.30 p. m. in St Brigid’s Church, Killargue with blessing of the Old Cemetery immediately after Mass at 3.15 p. m. approximately and continuing to the New Cemetery at 3.45 p. m. approximately. Then in Cloonlougher Cemetery will also take place on Sunday, June 25, at 5 p. m. The blessing of Graves in Newtownmanor Cemetery and Carrickatemple Cemetery will take place on Sunday, August 6, beginning with Mass in Newtownmanor Church at 5.30 p. m. A collection for the upkeep of the Cemeteries will be taken up.
