TRACTOR RUN

Keash Village Enhancemen­t wish to sincerely thank all who attended, participat­ed, donated and contribute­d at the recent Tractor Run and Family Fun day. A great day was had by all and a total of € 5,525.00 was raised in aid of the Keash Community playground. A big thank you to all.

KEASH VILLAGE – TENDERS

Keash Village Enhancemen­t are delighted to announe that the Community Playground is now live on etender. The closing date for people wishing to contract for the job is 4 p. m. on June 12.

CULFADDA NS

Culfadda NS Student Council are running a used clothes collection in order to raise funds for a Buddy Bench for the schoolyard. Donations of any unwanted clothes, shoes, handbags, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys etc can be left at the school in bin bags on Thursday and Friday JUne 8/ 9 between 9.30 a. m. and 3.30 p. m.

CEMETERY

Knockbrack cemetery committee appeals to everyone who have graves in the cemetery not to dispose of worn wreaths or debris of any kind in the cemetery. The maintenanc­e man has advised the committee that he cannot cut the grass in areas where debris has been deposited as it damages his machine.

EASTERN HARPS

Please continue to support in the building of the new clubhouse in Keash. To see the project through, the club needs to raise more money and have launched a ‘ Buy a Block’ ticket selling event. Someone may call to your house and the club hopes for ongoing support. Overall prizes to a value of € 4,000 in the final draw next November and there will be six monthly draws till then for Garden Equipment. Tickets are € 5 each or a book of six tickets for all draws is € 20.
