GAA TABLE QUIZ

Cloonacool GAA Club are holding a fundraising table quiz in Brennan’s Lounge Cloonacool on Friday, June 9, at 9.30 p. m. Tables of four at € 40 per table. There will be prizes for the winners and numerous spot prizes during the course of the evening, as well as a prize for the most humorous team name. Parents, players and supporters are asked to come out in force to support the clubs fundraiser.

COMMUNITY PARK DRAW

The Community Park draw for May took place in Brennan’s on Saturday night. Congratulations to Michael and Una Cully, who won € 200, Michael and Maureen Calvey won € 100, while € 50 each went to John McIntyre and Darragh Ruane. Consolation prizes went to Des and Edel Haran, Pat and Patrica Hayes, James McCarrick and Michael Gallagher. Many thanks for your continued and generous support.

ROSE OF TRALEE

An evening in honour of Lisa Maloney, our beautiful Sligo Rose and Clodagh Gavigan, her Rosebud, has been planned for Friday, June 16, at 8.15 p. m. in Cloonacool Community Centre. It will be a relaxed social evening with refreshments and a chance to meet Lisa and Clodagh. There will be a bucket on the night, if people wish to contribute to Lisa’s campaign.

CARD GAME

The Cloonacool Card Game takes place at 9 p. m. each Monday evening in Cloonacool Community Centre.

NORTH WEST HOSPICE

The recent church gate collection at St Michael’s Church, Cloonacool for North West Hospice came to € 142. North West Hospice expresses their appreciation for this generous support.

GREENWAY CO- OP

A date for your cycling diary: Sunday, June 18. Sligo Greenway Co- op will be organising a Greenway for a day cycle in association with Sligo County Council and Bike Week. More details in the coming weeks.

MUSIC CLUB

Cloonacool Music Club takes place on Thursday at Brennan’s Bar from 10 p. m. Come along for a great night of music and singing. There will be a bus avail- able to collect and leave home on Thursday nights for music club. Pick up between 9: 30 and 10 p. m., and then leaving Cloonacool after the food. Please ring 071 9185037 for further information and to book your seat. There will be a minimal charge for the bus.
