COFFEE MORNING

A fundraisin­g coffee morning will be held in the home of Amanda and Philip Higgins Leekfield Skreen on Saturday, June 10, from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. in aid of their daughter Naomi’s volunteeri­ng trip to Romania where she will do volunteer work with Romanian teenagers. All funds raised will go to this project. Your support will be deeply appreciate­d and everyone is welcome to drop in and enjoy a coffee while supporting a very worthy cause.

BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET

The next workshop event at Beltra Country Market will be Fun Felt Making with Mary on Saturday, June 10, The Market runs from 10 a. m. to midday each Saturday in Beltra Hall and Grounds.

COMMUNITY CARE 40TH

The Skreen- Dromard Community Care Group are planning a Celebratio­n Party to mark the 40th Anniversar­y of the group. The party will be held in the Ocean Sands Hotel Enniscrone on Sunday, June 11. HEALTH/ SAFETY COURSE

A Health and Safety Course is scheduled to take place in the Skreen- Dromard Community Centre on June 15 and 16 2017 from 9.30 a. m. to 3.30 p. m. each day. The aim of the course is to promote awareness in Health and Safety of employees. Anyone interested in attending this course should contact Anne Marie at 087 6649635 for further details or to register interest. Places are limited so early booking is strongly advised.

Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25 – County Athletics Finals for those who have qualified from the local competitio­n.
