Michael McCaughan is a celebrated journalist who has traveled the world in search of dymamic political stories. His new book, Coming Home; one man’s return to the Irish language invites the reader to join him on a different kind of journey, into the charged dynamic that is the Irish language.

Michael Patrick MacDonald, is an Irish Ameican activist against crime and violence who was awarded the ‘ Daily Points of Light Award’ in 1999. He’s an author of two books and is currently learning Irish in Brooklyn, New York. He is the Glen’s Centre newly arrived writer-in- residence.

Linda Ervine, has set up the Turas Irish language Programme in the East Belfast Mission and supports an Irish Language act for the North of Ireland. It is to her credit that more people signed up for Irish classes in East Belfast than in West Belfast.

This is a bi- lingual event which will be enjoyable and stimulatin­g for everyone.
