Broke Garda’s watch strap

A man who broke the strap of a Garda’s watch last November, still hadn’t paid for the € 100 damage. Dylan Lynott, Garavogue Villas damaged the wrist watch of Garda Kevin Donegan at Millbrook Apartments. He was also summoned for offences under the Public Order Act. Lynott told the court he wasn’t “back on my feet yet.”

“It’s not easy to get money with paying bills,” he said, promising to pay.

The defendant, who was represented by Mr Tom MacSharry, solicitor was remanded to July 13th. “You have four weeks. I don’t care where you get it,” Judge Kilrane told Lynott.
