MASS FOR DECEASED
Cranmore Active Age Group invites all neighbours and friends to join them to pray for those who have died in the last year, and for bereaved families. Mass will be celebrated in the Abbeyquarter Community Centre on Wednesday, June 21, at 8 p. m. Refreshments afterwards. All are welcome please tell your neighbours.
PUBLIC HEALTH NURSES
Public Health Nurses are in the Cranmore Co- op Offices, 11 Devins Drive every Tuesday 2 p. m. to 3.30 p. m.
COMMUNITY ALARMS
Cranmore Community Co- operative in their aim to support older persons in the community are presently taking grant applications for the Seniors Alert Alarm Scheme administered by the Co- op and managed by the Department of Environment, community, and Local Government.
The purpose of the scheme is to ensure that older people without sufficient means continue to live securely in their own home with confidence, independence and peace of mind. Funding will be available for the purchase and installation of personal monitored alarms.
Qualifying persons must be over 65 years of age, and living alone or with another qualified person. Please do not hesitate to contact the Co- op office with any queries at 071 9149951.
