Deepest sympathy is extended to the wife, Sally and family of the late Noel Laing, Ammer, Kilmactranny, who died recently in England and whose remains were interred in Kilmactranny cemetery on Friday last. May he rest in peace.

PUBLIC MEETING

There was a fantastic turnout for the public meeting in regard to developments within the community. Close to 60 people of all ages attended and there was a very positive feel to the meeting.

A large number of ideas were forthcoming and these will now be taken on board by the committee and assessed and hopefully a plan can be formed which will be submitted for funding. Updates will be posted on the Geevagh Facebook page and in the local papers.

A very big thank you to all who attended the meeting and to all who engaged with the GLAD members as they handed out the letters during the week. This is our community and hopefully all of us working together can make it better.
