FATHER’S DAY DINNER

Rathbarron Parish, Coolaney are hosting their annual Father’s Day Dinner on Sunday, June 18. There will be four sittings at midday, 1 p. m., 2 p. m. and 3 p. m. Early booking is advisable to avoid disappoint­ment. The cost per person is, Adults – € 15, Students € 10 and children under six years is € 5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to Nigel Durkin, Ballincarr­ow, who celebrated his 40th Birthday with neighbours, friends and family in the Coach House Hotel, Ballymote last Saturday night.

Sympathy is extended to Fr Jim Finan, Collooney, on the death of his sister Margaret McEneaney in Leeds, UK. May she rest in peace. Sympathy is also expressed to the Gilmartin Family, Knockbeg on the recent death of Dan Gilmartin and to the Devaney Family, Collooney, on the sudden death of David Devaney in New York. May they rest in peace.

7KM FUN WALK/ RUN

Ballinacar­row NS Parents’ associatio­n would like to invite you to attend their 7KM fun walk/ run on Monday, June 26. Registrati­on opens at 6.30 p. m. Walkers start at 7 p. m. with runners setting off at 7.30 p. m. This is a nice flat route with just a few minor hills for any runners practising for some future races. Cost is € 10 per person, € 3 per child or € 20 per family. Anybody wishing to volunteer on the evening is asked to contact a member of the parents’ associatio­n.
