NACE O’DOWD PARK
Coolaney- Mullinabreena GAA are delighted to announce the commencement of the next phase of leader funded works at Nace O’Dowd Park. Work has commenced on installation of the new walking/ running track along with new steel spectator fence. A new all weather sand training area will also be installed. The new modern playing pitch is nearing completion and will soon be ready for use once again. Thanks to all the park users for your continued patience during the period of construction.

PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION
Achonry NS parents’ association are having their annual Clothes Collection this June on the following dates: Friday, June 23 from 3 p. m. to 4 p. m. at Achonry NS and 8 p. m. to 9 p. m. at St Nathy’s Hall Mullinabreena. Also Saturday, June 24 from 10 a. m. to midday at St Nathy’s Hall.
Accepting all clothing including Underwear, bed linen, towels, curtains, footwear, hand bags, belts and soft toys. Not accepted: pillows, duvets and mats. Keep packing and pass the word on to extended family, Neighbours And Friends and put a big effort in. For Collection Ring 087 6312980.
8K ROAD RACE
The Coolaney- Mullinabreena GAA second annual 8k Road race will take place in Coolaney on Wednesday, July 5, at 7.30 p. m. Run, jog or walk this well organised and chip timed event in what promises to be a great occasion with numbers expected to be well up following last year’s success.
GREENWAY CYCLE
A date for your cycling diary: Sunday, June 18, Sligo Greenway Co- op will be organising a Greenway for a day cycle in association with Sligo County Council and Bike Week. More details in the coming weeks.
CARROWMORE SCHOOL
The friends of Carrowmore School group have announced plans for a Rambling house/ so- cial event in the School on Saturday, August 12. More details to follow.
25 CARD GAME
The local 25 card game continues every Friday in St Nathy’s Hall at 9 p. m.
DANCING
Set dancing is on every Thursday in St Nathy’s Hall at 8.30 p. m. and social dancing every Monday at 8 p. m. for beginners and 9 p. m. for all others.
