Sligo company up for top award
Sligo- based software company SonorPlex has had their recent international successes recognised by being shortlisted in the “Best Technology” category of the Event Industry Awards, which showcases the very highest standards in Ireland’s event Industry.
Founded by Sligo natives Niall O’Connor and Barry Gildea, the company has delivered interactive event services for tens of thousands of conference delegates around the world, including high profile events for pharmaceutical giants, Novartis, GSK and Astra Zeneca.
The journey has taken SonorPlex to conferences as far west as San Francisco and as far east as Kuala Lumpur, with many ‘ local’ events in cities such as Vienna and Copenhagen - they’ve clocked up a lot of air miles to ensure their innovative services are delivered to the standard required at these high- profile events.
The final winners will be revealed at the gala awards ceremony on Friday, July 14th, at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin.
