Man ( 29) has ‘ serious addiction issues’
A man who admitted presenting forged prescriptions at two pharmacies and to also possessing cocaine had his case adjourned to July.
Clive Zoschke of Slieve Mór, Ballytivnan is charged with possessing forged prescriptions at Nicholson’s pharmacy on August 29th and at Boots on September 31st.
At Nicholson’s the defendant presented the prescription himself and at Boots a female had done so with the defendant’s name on it. The female told Gardaí that the defendant had given her the prescription.
On December 26th the defendant was stopped on the footpath and he then put something into his mouth which he was asked to remove. He spat out a plastic wrap. He also had in his possession a container which had a number of Diazepam tablets.
Mr Tom MacSharry, solicitor ( defending) said there was a comprehensive probation report before the court. Zoschke had very serious addiction issues and had been in and out of three addiction centres since the matters came to light.
The case was put back to July 13th next.
