40TH BIRTHDAY

Nigel Durkin, Ballincarrow, who like to thank everybody who attended his his 40th Birthday Bash in the Coach House Hotel, Ballymote last Saturday night. Family and friends who travelled long distances to be there on the night and also everybody for their generous gifts.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the White families, Ballinabole, on the sudden death of their sister Mary Martin, née White, Athlone. May she rest in peace.

7KM FUN WALK/ RUN

Ballinacarrow NS Parents Assc. would like to invite you to attend their 7KM fun walk/ run on Monday, June 26. Registration opens at 6.30 p. m.

Walkers start at 7 p. m. with runners setting off at 7.30 p. m. This is a nice flat route with just a few minor hills for any runners practising for some future races. Cost is € 10 per person, € 3 per child or € 20 per family.

Anybody wishing to volunteer on the evening is asked to contact a member of the parents’ association.

SPEEDING FINES

Ballinacarrow has been named in the Top 10 locations in the sountry for a chance to receive a speeding fine. According to information obtained under Freedom of Information Act, € 112,000 was processed in fines in 2015.
