The Boyle summer show is now accepting applicatio­ns from stall holders for the summer show being held on Sunday, August 20. Arts and crafts, Artisan Foods, Agricultur­al, Educationa­l, New Venture Stalls are all welcome. Marquees will be provided if required. Entry is free ( depending on business type). BREAST EDUCATION

A Breast Education and Awareness programme is due to be held in Boyle. The compliment­ary Breast Cancer Ireland programme will take place on Wednesday, June 21, 11 a. m. to midday in Boyle Family Resource Centre. All ladies are welcome to this free event.

DIGITAL TOOLS

The soon to be launched Spool Factory Co Working Hub and Event Centre in Boyle will host the ‘ Ultimate Crash Course in Digital Tools and Online Awesomenes­s seminar’ on Wednesday, June 21, commencing at 4 p. m.

Galway based web developmen­t company and creative agency Educated Machine are embarking on a whirlwind tour of Connacht bringing their Ultimate Crash Course in Digital Tools and Online Awesomenes­s seminar to the far flung corners of our province. The Boyle event takes place in the Spool Factory Event Centre on Wednesday, June 21, Each of the seminars will be completely free of charge and are open to anybody who wants to learn about digital tools and productivi­ty for business.

MAKEUP PLAY LAUNCH

Come and watch celebrity MUA Ken Boylan show his tips and tricks of the trade showcasing his amazing range of products with Skin and Haircare with tips from the Vanity girls on Thursday, June 29, at 6 p. m. in King House, Boyle. NATIONAL PLAY DAY

Castlerea Festival are delighted to announce we are returning to Lough Key for National Play Day on Sunday, June 25. After last year’s phenomenal success we are bringing a bigger, better and slightly different show to the park.

BALLET/ DANCE CONCERT

IRISH SUMMER CAMP

Enrolment is now open for an all Irish summer camp which will take place from Monday, June 26, till Friday, June 30, in Boyle. This camp is for first and second year students. It will cover all the skills needed for Junior Cert Irish both oral and written in a fun and creative way.

Enrolment is also open for a Primary school students Irish summer camp which will take place from Monday, July 3, till Friday, July 7, in Boyle.

The aim of these summer camps is to offer students an enjoyable and fun atmosphere where they can learn Irish and have the opportunit­y to speak it in an Active Learning environmen­t lots of drama, games music, art, cooking, dancing and outings. Class starts at 10 a. m. and finishes at 2.30 p. m. each day.
