Sligo Community Training Centre

FROM its humble beginnings in a 20 place centre at Ballast Quay in 1984 Sligo Community Training Centre has gone from strength to strength. Having catered to date for almost 1900 learners from the Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo area it now occupies a custom designed facility located in the scenic area of Cleveragh on the outskirts of Sligo town.

Over the years, activities and courses have developed and expanded, reflecting the changing needs of our learners and the labour market. Currently the courses on offer include computers, catering, hairdressing, exploring options and sports & recreation. These options are supported with literacy/ numeracy, maths, communications, ECDL, gardening, personal development, arts/ crafts, work experience and link work. All modules are QQI certified and are recognised on the National Framework of Qualifications.
