1 YOGA AND HARMONY As part of the Hawk’s Well Summer Solstice celebratio­ns, there will be a Yoga and Harmony session on Wednesday the 21 June at 7.45 in the morning. This session is suitable for beginners and experience­d yogi alike and attendants are asked to bring comfortabl­e clothes and their own mats. Produced by Stone’s Throw Theatre, directed by Aoife Spillane Hinks, the show was written by Mirjana Rendulic who also performs in the play. KIERAN QUINN & SEAMIE O’DOWD An intimate setting in South Sligo will host a house concert in the coming days featuring the musical talents of Keiran Quinn and Seamie O’Dowd; currently Sligo’s best- know musical partnershi­p. The musical pairing will play the house concert at Moy River Folk Club in Cloonacool on this coming Friday June 23rd at 8pm sharp. A light supper is included. Space is limited so booking is essential on 087 2512030. 5 KNOCKLANE FESTIVAL WEEKEND The Knocklane Festival weekend, hosted by Benbulben Comhaltas takes place from Friday, June 23rd through to Sunday, June 25th at Ellen’s Bar in Maugherow. 6 SLIGO TAG FRAT PARTY The club house at Sligo Rugby Club will be transforme­d into Deltra Trend on Thursday June 22nd for a night of traditiona­l Americal Frat House Games. The party takes place after the last tag game of the evening. Expect beer pong, fairy lights, dares and much more. Events kick off at 10.

Free Admission on the night. 8 SLIGO CITY SPORTS Sligo City Sports will be a massive night of athletics for all with kids competing alongside Elite Athletes. The huge athletics event takes place on Wednesday, June 21st, 9 SLIGO WAY MIDSUMMER’S CHALLENGE Charity walk for the Sligo Cancer Support Centre. A great challenge for a great cause. 80km, 40km and 20km routes to choose from spanning the entire length of the Sligo way walking trail. Taking place on June 23rd, participan­ts will walk along the Sligo way towards Dromahair. For more call 0873178255. 10 SLIGO DAWN PADDLE 2017 The Sligo Dawn Paddle 2017 is a charity peer paddle in aid of selected children’s charities and will be held in the early hours of the morning on Saturday June 24th 2017 at a defined route on the Garavogue River, Sligo. The event begins on Saturday, June 24th, at 3am at the Back Avenue.
