There will be a cuppa afterwards in the Resource centre. Anyone who would like to provide some home baking can leave it in on the evening.

This event has proven very popular since its inception and is a great fundraiser for North West Hospice. All support on the evening will be greatly appreciated.

HONDA 50 RUN

There was a massive turnout for the annual Honda 50 run which took place on Sunday of last week. Close to 130 bikes of varying sizes, makes and shapes set off on a very fine Sunday afternoon for a journey taking in some of the finest scenery that Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon has to offer. Some of the pictures of the event even made it onto the national papers, thanks to the master of the lens, Brian Farrell. It was a very enjoyable day out for all the participants and great credit must go the local club for the excellent organising of the run. All proceeds will go to the Sligo Branch of the Irish Kidney Association.
