TIDY ESTATE/ ROAD
Dromahair Development Association/ Tidy Towns are running the Tidy Estate/ Road Competition again this year. Please contact Margaret, Theresa or Martina in the Depot office to enter your Estate/ Road on 07191 34986 or 085 8017943 or message us on Facebook. Closing date for entries is June 30.
TIDY TOWNS
Judging of the Tidy Towns competition has started and everyone has a role to play to keep the village looking at its best. We have our litter patrols out every day and most people are great so here’s hoping for a huge Team Dromahair effort for 2017, is feidir linn..
GRAVEYARD MASSES
Mass in the graveyards in Killenummery Parish will take place on Saturday, July 8, in Carrowcrin cemetery at 7.30 p. m. On Sunday, July 9, in Killerry at 11.30 a. m. and in Creevelea at 2 p. m. A collection will be taken up at Creevelea new cemetery for the upkeep of the graveyard.
The blessing of Graves in Newtownmanor Cemetery and Carrickatemple Cemetery will take place on Sunday, August 6, beginning with Mass in Newtownmanor Church at 5.30 p. m.
THE HERITAGE GROUP
The Heritage Group ( An Grúpa Oidhreachta) exciting news of the acquisition of an old map of Dromahair which will be soon be on display in the library. An Grúpa Oidhreachta is planning two events for this year’s Heritage Week. More details over the coming weeks, just save the date, Saturday, August 19.
THE DEPOT
The Depot Office is now open Monday to Friday morning from 9.45 a. m. to 1 p. m.
