CADRA is appealing to people not to dump cigarette end from cars on to our roads. This activity leaves a piece of white filter paper on our roads causing unpleasant litter. Remember ‘ Be Green Keep Carraroe Clean’ is our campaign slogan. Your assistance and cooperation will be appreciated.
CADRA DONATION
CADRA wishes to acknowledge the donation of € 100 by a local resident; the person explained they cannot assist physically but really appreciate the work being undertaken to keep our area a pleasant place to live and visit. We appreciate all donations as such allows us undertake more development.
COMMUNITY GARDEN
CADRA may, if there an interest, commence a community garden on a site in area please let us know if you would be interested.
SCOIL NAOMH ÉANNA
Our school is closed for the summer Holidays. We wish the staff and students a safe and happy summer. Best wishes to sixth class who are leaving the school this year. Please remember that the school grounds are private property and no one should be trespassing during the summer period. CCTV is in operation on the grounds.
NEW RAISED BED
work will commence soon on a new raised bed at the junction from Carraroe to roundabout. We want to thank Lucy Brennan Parks Department Sligo County Council Parks for her guidance and support with this project.
BOWLING

NATIONAL HERITAGE WEEK
An organised trip will take place to the CARNs on Cairns Hill on Tuesday, August 22, meeting at water works fox den at 9.45 a. m. The event will be led by Stefan Bergh a recognised authority on CARNs of Co Sligo – and more details will be advised nearer the time – keep the date free.

Cúl Camps 2017: Online registration is now open for St John’s GAA Academy/ Kellogg’s Cúl Camp from July 17 to July 21 at Stenson Park, Cuilbeg, Sligo. Anyone wishing to book their child/ children onto this year’s camp can do so now at kelloggsculcamps. gaa. ie.

The sick and Housebound: Mass is on 107FM. Just tune your radio before Mass. Please let the housebound know about this service in your area.
CPR/ AED
There are 80 residents trained in CPR/ AED in Carraroe area. Get to know the people on your road who are trained in CPR/ AED as it might be of assistance in the future. Please note the AEDs are located at the Community Centre and Football Clubhouse. The code to open is posted beside each machine.
