1960 MINOR SQUAD REUNION

Plans are now progressing well for the Ballymote 1960 Minor Gaelic Football Squad Reunion that will take place in Doddy’s Lounge commencing at 8.15 p. m. on Friday, July 14.

Virtually all the squad members have now been located and notified of the event. The search will continue till all members are contacted. More than half the squad members have responded positively to the notifications. Further research has resulted in the inclusion of John Cassidy, Hubert McDermott and Francis Donohoe in the squad list.

Congratulations to the parents of Kourtney Rebecca Rose Quigley, Knockadalteen, who was baptised recently in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote.

COLEMAN MUSIC CENTRE

Summer Seisiún will commence Wednesday, June 28. This stage show features our resident group showcasing traditional music at its best and the audience is entertained with a variety of traditional music, song and dance. Saturday, July 1 – Informal Junior Music Session. This is a great opportunity for young musicians to play together.
