Garda for trial

A 35-year- old Garda has been sent for ward for trial on charges alleging that she used forged and photocopied prescriptions at a number of pharmacies in the town to obtain anxicalm and stilnoct t ablet s in Februar y and April l ast year.

Jimell Henr y of Cairns Hill, Sligo was remanded on continuing bail to appear at Sligo Circuit Court on July 18th next.

The defendant was represented by Mr Gerard McGovern, solicitor.

The accused is al so facing trial on charges of disclosing information obtained in the course of her duties and with one count of possession of cocaine.
