NEW SACRISTAN REQUIRED
After many years of dedicated and faithful service to our Church Evelyn and Martin Scanlon are retiring as Sacristan. We can only imagine the long hours both have given to the welfare and care of the church and it smooth operation. As a faith filled community we are in debt to them. The retirement means that a vacancy exists for a new Sacristan at St John’s Church Carraroe. We are looking for someone in our community, who would be willing to give some time to the church and help with its smooth operation. A good sacristan is the ‘lifeblood’ of the local Church. Please contact Fr Jim Murray at 071 9162136 for further information. Full training and support will be provided.
