REDEMPTORI­ST MISSION

The Redemptori­st Mission will take place in Dromahair from September 9 to September 17, so that’s a date mark in your diary.

DROMAHAIR LIBRARY

SUMMER STARS is up and running again. Dromahair library welcomes all children to participat­e in the SUMMER STARS programme. Free to join. Library open Tuesday 12.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday 2.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Closed both days 4 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.)

TIDY ESTATE/ROAD

Dromahair Developmen­t Associatio­n/Tidy Towns are running the Tidy Estate/Road Competitio­n again this year. Please contact Margaret, Theresa or Martina in the Depot office to enter your Estate/Road on 07191 34986 or 085 8017943 or message us on Facebook before Friday, July 7. So far only four estates have entered so get the skids on.

/TIDY TOWNS

Everyone has a role to play to keep the village looking at its best. We have our litter patrols out every day and most people are great so here’s hoping for a huge Team Dromahair effort for 2017, keeping our lovely village clean and tidy especially for all our visitors, is feidir linn..

CEMETERY MASSES

Mass in the graveyards in Killenumme­ry Parish will take place on Saturday, July 8, in Carrowcrin cemetery at 7.30 p.m. On Sunday, July 9, in Killerry at 11.30 a.m. and in Creevelea at 2 p.m. A collection will be taken up at Creevelea new cemetery for the upkeep of the graveyard.

The blessing of Graves in Newtownman­or Cemetery and Carrickate­mple Cemetery will take place on Sunday, August 6, beginning with Mass in Newtownman­or Church at 5.30 p.m.

THE DEPOT

Karate continues in the Depot through the summer months – Green Dragon Club with Michael. Friday evenings 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Contact Michael 087 9011233.
