The monthly Comhaltas session will take place in Nathy Brennan’s, Tubbercurry, on Friday night, July 7. Junior session starts at 9 p.m. and senior session at 10, 00 p.m.
SUMMER SCHOOL 2017
The 301st South Sligo summer School of Irish Traditional Music, song and dance takes place in Tubbercurry from July 9 to July 15.
Following Aifreann an Domhnaigh in the Church of John Evangelist at 11.30 a.m. on Sunday morning July 9, the official opening by newly elected Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, councillor Séamus Kilgannon, takes place in St Brigid’s Hall at 7.30 p.m. Swallows Tail céilí Band play for the opening céilí that night, starting at 8.30 p.m. and registration for all classes and workshops is also in St Brigid’s Hall from 8.30 a.m. on Monday morning, July 10.

ADVENTURE CAMP
Ox Mountain Adventure Camp are again running two summer camps, July 18 to July 21 and 25 to July 28, from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. each day; cost €60 per child per week, limited places. email oxmountaincamp@gmail.com or call 071 9181920.

Looking for some crafty time? Why not come and join the Tubbercurry Women’s Group. We meet every Wednesday from 5.30 p.m. till 8.30 p.m. at the community room at the Tubbercurry library. We’ll be delighted to see you.
