MEN’S: Members please note Mr Leo Logan’s Presidents Day is taking place on Saturday 15th July. The Timesheet is filling fast, please check availability on the BRS System. Best wishes to Leo on his day and good luck to all competitors let’s hope the weather is kind to us on the day. On a week of high scoring at Strandhill Golf Club we had an excellent 45 points scored by Kieran Dyer from Ballyhaunis golf club in the Seniors open on Wednesday. Cian Feeney from County Sligo had an excellent 39 points to win Friday’s Open competition. Score of the day on Saturday came from Eugene Gilligan with 40 points well done Eugene making a welcome return to the winners’ enclosure. Another very popular winner in the Sunday V Par competition was John White with a score of 3 Up, well done John. Strandhill Golf Club have an Open Week from Saturday 22nd July to Sunday 30th July please keep the dates in your diary and encourage members, friends and visitors to experience Strandhill Golf Club at its best and participate in daily competitions for a great array of prizes. NATIONAL 4ball inter club next match is on this coming Saturday with five matches in Castledargan in the second leg of the Connaght Final. Matches tee off from 1.30. Anyone free is welcome to come along and support the lads.

WELL done to our Kenny Cup team of Sean Carroll, Patrick Callaghan and Darragh Connolly on qualifying for the area finals of the competition. The lads did the business on our home course recently. Best of luck to the lads in the finals at the end of the summer.
