Mullaghmore water scheme
COUNCILLOR Marie Casserly has called on the Council to install a proper Waste Water Treatment Plant in Mullaghmore. She said Ecoli had already been detected earlier this year and the current system could not deal with the capacity.
Acting Director of Services Tom Brennan told Cllr Casserly that the Mullaghmore Sewerage Scheme is included in Irish Water’s Business Plan to be delivered between 2017-2021. He said Irish Water was in the process of mobilising a design team to review the options for an upgrade to the wastewater treatment scheme for Mullaghmore.
