A 45-year-old woman charged with spitting and throwing bottles at Gardaí has agreed to abide by the conditions of Maryville Hostel, Finisklin.

Amanda Farrell, of Cranmore Drive, Sligo, is charged with four Public Order offences at Finisklin, Sligo on June 21st, including throwing a bottle of alcohol over Gardaí and spitting at them.

Farrell is also charged with damaging a single bed frame belonging to the HSE at Maryville Hostel on 4th of July.

The court heard Maryville Hostel had agreed to take Farrell back in since 10th July and she told the judge she would abide by their conditions.

“I’m going back to Charter House,” she told Judge Kilrane.

Inspector Paul Kilcoyne said there had been no incidents since 4th of July.

Judge Kilrane remanded Farrell on continuing bail to November 16th to monitor her behaviour and ordered a Probation Report.
