Markievicz Park hosts Donegal versus Galway
ALTHOUGH Sligo’s run in the 2017 All-Ireland Football Championship come to an end away to Meath in Páirc Tailteann, Navan, Markievicz Park is still involved in the action.
The venue is hosting the much-anticipated Championship clash between Donegal and Galway this Saturday.
Fans are being advised to get their tickets early as the game will be a sell-out. It has a 7pm throw-in. Ticket Information is as follows: Adult €20.00, Juvenile €5.00 while Student/Senior Citizen Tickets are
€15 on matchday only, no concessions.
Tickets are available from the Sligo County Board Office, Sligo GAA Centre of Excellence, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo and from
Centra and Supervalu Stores.
There is interest locally in the preceding game as Sligo U21 hurlers are in the All-Ireland C Hurling final with Donegal.
That match is starting at 4pm and sees Declan Loughnane’s young side in their first All-Ireland C final.
They defeated Louth comprehensively in the semi-final.
Sligo U21 hurlers take on Donegal at 4pm before Donegal v Galway is at 7pm in Markievicz Park.
