Dromahair Playschool is recruiting an afterschool leader and assistant for September. Must have Level 5 childcare qualification with a minimum one years experience. Closing date July 28. Summer Stars is up and running again. Dromahair library welcomes all children to participate in the Summer Stars programme. Free to join. Library open Tuesday 12.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday 2.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Closed both days 4 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.)
TIDY ESTATE/ROAD COMPETITION 2017.
Dromahair Development Association/Tidy Towns are running the Tidy Estate/Road Competition again this year. Perpetual Trophy for winning estate. Judging shortly.
DROMAHAIR DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION/TIDY TOWNS.
Everyone has a role to play to keep the village looking at its best. We have our litter patrols out every day and most people are great so here’s hoping for a huge Team Dromahair effort for 2017, keeping our lovely village clean and tidy Le Chéile.
MASS IN THE GRAVEYARDS
The blessing of graves in Newtownmanor Cemetery and Carrickatemple Cemetery will take place on Sunday, August 6, beginning with Mass in Newtownmanor Church at 5.30 p.m.
CANCER SUPPORT
Outreach Cancer support group facilitated by Sligo Cancer Support group will take place in the Ballagh Centre Rossinver on Tuesday, July 25, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. If you or a family member has been affected by cancer please feel free to attend. We are hosting David Brophy’s ‘Age Gap Choir’ every Tuesday and Thursday. The choir is still looking for male voices 60 years+. Please phone the centre for more information.
DEPOT OFFICE
The Depot Office is now open Monday to Friday morning from 9.45 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. We offer a full range of office services. Photocopying, typing, printing, laminating and internet access. All services available at very reasonable rates. Want to book the Depot for a class or function? Take the hassle out of birthday parties by holding it in the depot, lots of tables and chairs and kitchen facilities. Space indoor for bouncy castle, no worries about the weather.
