COMMUNITY ALARMS

Cranmore Community Co-operative in their aim to support older persons in the community are presently taking grant applications for the Seniors Alert Alarm Scheme administered by the Co-op and managed by the Department of Environment, community, and Local Government. The purpose of the scheme is to ensure that older people without sufficient means continue to live securely in their own home with confidence, independence and peace of mind. Funding will be available for the purchase and installation of personal monitored alarms. Qualifying persons must be over 65 years of age, and living alone or with another qualified person. ROCK AND ROLL BINGO FUNDRAISER

Rock and Roll Bingo Fundraiser night in aid of Cranmore Community Co-op will be taking place on Saturday, July 22, in the Blue Lagoon Riverside Sligo at 9.30 p.m. Loads of prizes to be given away in our Monster Raffle – raffle tickets available from the Cranmore Co-op 11 Devins Drive at €2 each. Make sure to come along for a great night out with DJ and quizmaster Seamie Mac.

FAMILY BOAT TRIP

Cranmore’s family boat trip up the lake will be taking place on Monday, July 24, 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Please contact Sue Mahon at 071 9149951 or 086 4028461 for application form.
