Cashel Gates junction

SLIGO County Council will carry out works to re-allign the Cashel Gates junction on the N17, Senior Engineer Tom Brennan informed Councillor Jerry Lundy. Mr Brennan said work would begin soon and this was warmly welcomed by Cllr Lundy. Mr Brennan said agreement had been reached with CIE to allow them work over the rail line. Meanwhile, Cllr Lundy was also informed that there was no history of accidents to justify traffic calming measures or a pedestrian crossing between the Parklands Estate and McSorley Filling Station.
